About us

The recipients of Connoisseur Magazine belong to less than half a percent of the Swedish working population with an income higher than SEK 2.7 million per year. These individuals build companies for the benefit of others, have unique expertise, and create added value for society. After more than two decades, Connoisseur Magazine has 55,000 readers (based on previous year's estimates). The special edition, Connoisseur Exclusive, is distributed in December each year to the 15,000 people with the highest income in the country.

Connoisseur Magazine celebrates the history and tradition behind the world's finest brands, while individuals are highlighted in personal interviews with successful entrepreneurs, business profiles, and committed people with interesting life stories. Connoisseur is distributed in February, May, and October, plus a special issue in December.

We are proud of the fact that every other reader reads each issue more than three times. In addition, 27 percent of recipients say they collect the magazine.

 

Our editorial concept

Our editorial content is based entirely on what our readers want. Every year, we conduct a major survey to find out which topics, types of interviews, and content are most appreciated.. Based on this information, we determine our content. This is done in consultation with our editorial board. Connoisseur is considered more of a coffee tablebook than a magazine.

A full 27% of readers are collectors.  

Our editorial board includes individuals who are familiar with our target audience. The same applies to our Senior Editors. The writers we collaborate with typically have at least three years of journalism training. In some cases, however, articles may be written by subject matter experts. The majority of our writers have worked with us for many years and are well aware of the importance of language maintenance.
